Camlock Adaptor
If your caravan/RV grey water outlet has a Camlock receiver (looks like this main product image), then you can use the following parts to connect Flat Out sullage hoses effectively to your rig.
Camlock fittings are popular for the standard ribbed style grey water hoses because they are so hard to slid on and off fittings. Yet before we continue, we would like to point out that, Camlocks are not needed for connecting Flat Out sullage hoses. Because our hoses are so much more flexible, it is easier, uses less weight, less epense, and less bulk to simply slide a Flat Out hose over a barbed fitting when in use.
If you can unscrew the fitting, you will find a thread behind it. You could then use a pipe attachment for your female thread on van or male thread on van.
That said, some vans come pre-fitted with a Camlock receiver that is difficult to remove. We have also met customers who prefer the secure feeling a Camlock provides and so we have developed these adaptors for you.
- Determine the size of Camlock you have:
- There is often a number embossed onto the part, or
- Measure your van's male camlock adaptor fitting outer diameter (OD or Major Diameter). Use this chart to determine the size you have.
- Decide which sullage hose you intend to use (25 or 32mm).
- Select the part that matches both below.
Each set comes as a self assembly kit of a Female Camlock fitting, elbow and barb for the flat out hose. Options are named: Size of camlock fitting —> Flat Out hose size
