How a Sullage Hose Directed Michael's Career

As we continue to grow, it feels important to share more about the people behind what we do. And this month, we’re mixing things up and introducing someone who’s been a big part of the Flat Out journey.

Meet Michael: an adventurer at heart who’s turned his passion for the road into part of our journey.

Before joining us, Michael built a career helping others gear up for adventure. Through his time at ARB, he worked closely with customers to equip their vehicles for the road ahead. Over time, that passion turned into something more personal: he wanted to create his own adventures.

That shift led him to buy a caravan and hit the road. Like many who take that step, he quickly realized that setting things up properly isn’t always straightforward.

One of the biggest frustrations he ran into was managing sullage effectively, something that can really impact the overall experience if it’s not done right.

After searching for a better solution, he came across our system, and it made an immediate difference to how he travelled.

Since then, Michael has spent a lot of time exploring this country, and it’s something he speaks about with genuine passion. He’s seen firsthand just how much there is out there, and he’s a big advocate for getting out and experiencing it, whether it’s a weekend away or a longer trip off the beaten path.

After returning from his travels, Michael approached us about coming on board. It didn’t take long to see the value he could bring, and the rest is history. Since joining, he’s made a significant impact across the business and continues to play a key role in where we’re headed.
